The prestigious 2008 Philippine Blog Awards was just recently concluded last September 21, 2008 at One Esplanade here in Manila. Over 36 awards were given to the best blogs in different categories selected by a panel of judges which is composed of different personalities on the Philippine blogging scene and the mainstream media.
