<description>Just saw this post.. Very interesting. I am actually building the term Bloggista as an alternative keyword, not for &quot;blog&quot; but for &quot;bloggers&quot;. Slowly, but who knows when everyone will adopt the idea. :-)

<description>Blog is ok. Let us leave it be. For instance, has anybody come up with a Pinoy translation for the word &quot;internet&quot;? or &quot;surf&quot;? &quot;on-line&quot;?

Gosh!

		<description>hi,

Maybe the readers will gain some insights regarding translation techniques I did when i translated fr. Stephen Cuyos, MSC &quot;Blogger&#039;s Prayer&quot;, which he composed for the 1st Philipine Blog Awards 2007. I translated it as &quot;Ang Panalangin ng isang Blogger.&quot; You will understand why I didnt translate blogger as blogista. http://www.stephencuyos.com/?p=365

One reader is correct when he mentioned that Filipino language is different from Tagalog. As part of intellectualization of our Filipino language, we have to accept /borrow the foreign words and retain the correct spelling. Language is dynamic. It changes. The problem besets in our ortograpiyang Filipino because of the additional 8 letters that assimilated in our alfabetong Filipino (not Pilipino or Tagalog).

It could also help if you read an article i posted in my blog entitled: Pagsasaling-wika sa Panahon ng Elektroniko (http://plumatek.multiply.com/journal/item/44/Pagsasaling-wika_sa_Panahon_ng_Elektroniko )
Nice article you have. It&#039;s thought-provoking. I stumbled upon your site because of pinoydreamer. Your blog is very educational. More power to you.</description>

<description>Nakakatuwa naman yung &quot;blag&quot;... it reminds me of those action scenes in comic books... kapow! blag! aargh! Hehe...

Anyway, I think the term &quot;blog&quot; suffices just like you said with computer (kyomputer?), television (telebisyon?) and cellphone (selepono?!).

God bless :)
