Wordpress, one of the best blog platforms around today, has just released a new resource site called Wordpress.TV.
No, it’ not the next YouTube killer, it’s actually a site which contains video tutorials on how to install self-hosted Wordpress and even on how to get around Wordpress.com.
Our goal with WordPress.tv is simple:
To make it easy for you to find up-to-date, WordPress-themed video content within a couple of clicks. Without having to wade through spammy promotional videos, out-of-date content, and missing chunks of presentations. [link]

Are you a blogger who rarely gets to finish a blog post on time because of your bad habit of setting things aside for later?
Don’t worry, you’re not alone. It usually takes me hours just to finish a single blog post, sometimes even days. Procrastination is the habit I’ve been trying to break for months now.
Thank God I finally stumbled upon a solution that works. It’s a tool aptly named Dr. Wicked’s Write or Die.
Write or Die is a web application that encourages writing by punishing the tendency to avoid writing. Start typing in the box. As long as you keep typing, you’re fine, but once you stop typing, you have a grace period of a certain number of seconds and then there are consequences.
MyBlogLog just recently redesigned the Recent Reader Widget and added a new feature!

The new widget sports a glossy-professional like design with multi-colored shading that looks more like an i-phone.
If you would hover on the images of your recent visitors, a fly-out panel would pop-out and will show their profiles! No need to log in to your mybloglog account if you want to know more about your visitor! Their details are already on the widget iself provided that the visitor has updated and filled out the details on their profiles.

How do you change your widget?
All you need to do is to log-in to your MyBlogLog Account and look for the "Get Widgets" button as seen on the left image. Click it and you will be brought to a new page that contains the widgets that you could put on your blog.
You could change the color of the widget, the style (either one-column or multicolumn), the size of the images, the flyout orientation (left, right or none), the number of rows and the width of the widget.
For those who like to have a more unique touch on their widgets, MyBlogLog will soon be adding a feature where you could upload your own skins for the widget. Yeah! Personalized widgets! MyBlogLog has finally heard our prayers!
Would I use the new widget on my blog? I would if I could. The mybloglog widget on my sidebar is already fxied so that it would blend well with my site. Maybe on my other blogs.
What are you waiting for!? Go log in to your MyBlogLog account and change your widgets now!

Over the past few weeks I have been receiving some questions about Entrecard from fellow pinoy bloggers. A lot of them are actually skeptical over the new blogging phenomenon that has been sweeping the blogosphere. Some were concerned on whether Entrecard is effective in getting lots of traffic while others wanted to know if the service is really free.
To save myself from answering the same questions over and over again, I have made a mini-FAQ introducing the basic concept of Entrecard along with the answers to the questions that Pinoy bloggers have.
Hope this helps!
What is Entrecard?
Entrecard is a free advertising exchange network where bloggers can advertise on any blog found in the network for free. It is one of those blogging phenomenon that is quickly sweeping the blogosphere nowadays.

James from PinoyMoneyTalk just recently discovered a new feature being tested on Google AdSense: Scrolling Ads.
As you can see on the image above, there are two little clickable buttons on the lower-left corner of the AdSense unit that let’s you scroll through advertisements. These buttons can also be placed on other sizes of AdSense units like the leaderboard and banner sizes.
