When I was just starting out with Pinoy Blogero one and a half month ago, I have already come to know of Janette Toral’s Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs of 2007 contest that has been causing quite a stir in the Pinoy blogosphere. I even remembered getting disappointed because the contest was already nearing its end. I thought that there’s no way for a newly created blog to grace the list of Emerging Influential Blogs. It seems that I was wrong.
Up to date, Pinoy Blogero has already been nominated six times by different Pinoy blogs throughout the blogosphere. This just shows that your site doesn’t need to have a well-established footing on the blogosphere for it to be recognized by others.
I would like to extend my thanks to E Akino of Kabayan Junction, Chris Havarata from In Retrospect, Marwin of Agent X Moi Moi, Jhed of The Dork Factor, Reyville of Simply Manila, and Maki of NoNeedForInk for nominating Pinoy Blogero! May you have more blessings and less spam in your blogging lives.
I also like to take this opportunity to name my list of top 10 blogs that, I think, are worth for the title of Emerging Influential Blog for 2007. Ma’am Janette has been reminding me to submit my entry ever since the Taste Asia Event. Haha.
Here are my top 10 picks for this year. Please take note that I have picked the blogs that has garnered a great following of readers and has been considered influential by many throughout the months. The list is in no particular order.
1.) The Weblog of Paolo Mendoza by Paolo Mendoza
2.) CarlOcab.com by CarlOcab
3.) Cokskiblue by Coy
4.) Kabayan Junction by Kabayan Junction
5.) UtakGago by UtakGago
6.) The Dork Factor by Jhed
7.) I Heart Manila by Pusa
8.) Kubiertos by Chris
9.) An Apple A Day by Aileen Apolo
10.) Project Manila by Rick
If you would like to submit your own entry, check out the contest mechanics here. By submitting your entries, you’ll have a shot at winning $100 on the raffle that will be held at the Emerging Influential Blogs Eyeball this coming August 1.
Happy Blogging!
