The PB Forum is some sort of “Open Mic†activity that has been adapted from a number of blogs in the blogosphere. I came up with this gimmick when I was thinking of something that would help establish an interaction between my readers and my blog.
The activity is really simple. I would leave a question for my readers to ponder about and answer by leaving a comment on the said post. After a few days, all the comments will be collected and posted on this blog along with my own answer to the question.
The objective of this activity is to give a chance to the readers of Pinoy Blogero to share their own views on a particular topic. From these discussions, I am hoping that all of us could learn from everyone’s own viewpoints.
Our question for today has been inspired from an e-mail sent by Joshua Felix Tadena at the Pinoy Blogosphere mailing list which has the subject title of “Blogging for Pesoâ€. It asks a question if whether bloggers only think of earning money when they blog.
“Yan na ba ang uso ngayon? Nagbblog na lang ba ang mga tao para kumita? Ang hirap na talaga ng buhay ngayon.”
It is a serious question that asks where the future of blogging is headed. Will we have a future filled with blogs that focuses more on making money than providing content?
Here is my question to you:
Is it okay to blog for money? Does earning money through blogs deviate our attention to the real essense of blogging?

Para sa akin, there’s nothing wrong if you blog for money. Wala nang libre ngayon.
yun bang buwaya masyado na halos yung post mo may ads pa sobra na yun.
Basta hindi masama o nakaw yung ginagawa mo, walang masama. Dagdag kita kumbaga.
Sometimes when you blog for money, you try to make your posts interesting to the public, you entertain them.. you earn and at the same time you were able to help others.
kaya para sakin ok lang as long as hindi nakakasama sa iba
