UPDATE: Wasn’t able to board the flight. Found out too late that my Visa was already expired for 8 days. Guess I’ll be spending my Christmas here.
Nope, this is not a joke. I’m really heading to Saudi Arabia. In fact, I’m on my way to the airport right now.
Why is it very hard to believe that I am heading there? Everytime I tell someone that I’ll be spending the holidays there, I always get a mix of confused looks and raised eyebrows. It is not that bad of a country, really. Sure a lot of them smell bad, but not all of them. And contrary to popular belief, not all of them are terorrists. Surprised, eh? I bet you are.
Anyways, my flight is around 11am. I’ll be riding Cathay Airlines (personal fave), we’ll have a stop-over at HongKong, then at Bahrain, then finally at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. it will be a long flight, I think I can manage to finish a number of articles and comic strips during the course of the flight.
And, no, there wouldn’t be any on-the-spot updates like Yuga’s. I don’t have a latop (yet… hehehe).
See you guys tomorrow!

On the contrary, the Saudi’s are blaming UK/US/etc. for not heeding their 9/11 and other warnings.
I didn’t know there were tourist places, there though. Visiting relatives?
The Wikitravel page is scary though. And, I won’t be able to enter with my current passport. Hehe.
