Half a year ago, I envisioned PinoyBlogero.com as the only blog that is focused on the Pinoy blogosphere. An authority that has in-dept coverage and analysis of the latest news and issues of the Pinoy blogging community. A place where community members can discourse and interact. In short, a blog that is purely focused on the world of Pinoy blogging.
It was a great idea that had a lot of potential. However, after a few months of blogging. It seems that things didn’t turn out as I have imagined. PinoyBlogero.com wasn’t focusing at the Pinoy blogosphere at all.
I’m sure that some some of you may have noticed it. PinoyBlogero.com lacked the focus that it is supposed to be doing. Check my archives and you would notice that I have more articles that talk about blogging than the Pinoy blogosphere! Although I do have my weekend recaps and up-to-date news reports, I stil think that It still isn’t worthy of what I am claiming it to be.
I wanted to set my blog apart from other “blogs about blogging”. I tried to come up with unique content, but ended up crawling back in the comfort of the familiar and the norm.
What I need to have on my blog are articles like Misconceptions of some Pinoys on the World of Blogging, Pinoy Awareness on Blogging, Adding to the Misconception on blogging, that had once captivated the interest of my readers but was never followed.
Rest assured, my dear readers, that I am going to change my ways. I have seen my mistakes and I now have a clear view of what to change and where to improve. I don’t want PinoyBlogero.com to be regarded as the unique idea that was poorly executed.
On the coming days, expect pinoyblogosphere-centric posts (that are really hard to come up with, but don’t worry, I’m not complaining or anything), new gimmicks like contests, videocasts, podcasts, interviews, blog of the month, and so on. I’m going to strive harder this new year to become THE authority when it comes to the Pinoy blogosphere. I’ll make sure that you get what you are looking for.
Thank you my dear readers for reading my blog. Happy blogging!

Thumbs up to you, Karlo, for being open enough to constructively criticize yourself — and publish it in the blogosphere, no less.
Congratulations and advance congratulations as you achieve this goal.

Though you didn’t expect it will turn that way, you were able to get more readers from your blog. So that means that you have an interesting and effectitive topics posted. Good to hear from you to have more focus on things what you really want in your blog.

Ohh! You have failed! Stabs Karlo to death. ^_^
Hmm the tips that you have provided were general. In a sense, they can be applied by everyone whether they are pinoys or non pinoys. I’m wondering how you can filter out your blogging tips that would be applicable only to the pinoy blogosphere?
