Here in Pinoy Blogero. I always make sure that what I write is related to what my blog is about. Mainly because I value what my readers are expecting of me. They want articles concerning blogging and the Pinoy blogosphere, and that is what I give them.

I have a personal quota of one article per day, regardless of whether it is a major post or not as long as it is related to my niche topic. I do this because I believe that having a constant flow of quality niche-related articles greatly affects the growth of any blog.

However, there are some instances that are worth setting all of this aside. These instances are when there are special occasions.

Fathers day. My father’s day special was pretty much off-topic (and short), yet I felt that it really was necessary because all bloggers have fathers and they wouldn’t mind me greeting my parents anyways. Still, I posted two more articles on the same day just to meet my personal quota.

There was also the Independence day of the Philippines. Even if it sounded impossible, I managed to make my independence day special blogging related. So now, looking at your calendars back at home, probably the next special ocassion that will be worth posting is Halloween. Well, there is one last thing…

Today is the celebration of the 18th Monthsary of me and my girlfriend. And I would like to take this opportunity to greet her online.

“Baby, kala mo wala akong post tungkol sa monthsary natin. no? Hehe. Happy Monthsary! I love you!”
