The winner for the Proudly Pinoy logo making contest held by was announced last July 19, 2007. Joe Talisic, the winner of the contest, bagged the Php 10,000 prize with his work which can be seen below.

The aim for the contest is to create an identity button for the Philippines which will serve as a badge on Philippine blogs and websites all over the internet. It aims to promote Pinoy Pride by showcasing their talents and boasting the Filipino presence online.
The winner of the contest was judged according to public comments, popularity, design, and theme. For more information of the judging process and the finalists of the said contest, head over here.

If you want to put the winning badge on your site, visit the main site and read the instructions for use.

No offense, pero at first glance the winning logo did remind me of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes logo.
Anyway, if that’s the official proudly pinoy badge, then I have no reservations in using it.
