Earlier this morning, a lot of pinoy bloggers were surprised to find out about the sudden change of their blog’s rankings on Ratified.org after some tweaking of the site’s algorithm in determining the rankings for blogs.

Some blogs instantly climbed the ranks while others were thrown way behind the pack. This change has aroused different reactions from different bloggers who had their blogs ranked on the said site.

Andrew Dela Serna, the creator and programmer of Ratified.org, has only made a slight adjustment in the algorithm by including PageRanks and FeedBurner subscriptions in the criteria for ranking.

Dela Serna explains the sudden change on his blog:

“Most likely you’ll either see your blog drastically rise or crash abruptly in the rankings. If you experience the latter, I apologize in advance. Really, I’m sorry. Besides Technorati incoming blogs, I have included Pagerank and Feedburner subscriptions as part of the criteria. How they factor in the rankings is a secret!” [source]

Check out your blog rankings at Ratified and update your blog details by submitting your feed URL to Andrew Dela Serna.
