It's about time that someone from the academics recognize how important an educational tool blogging can be.

Blogging might be the one thing that can help re-ignite the students' desire to study and write.

its nice to see a teacher who's very open minded when it comes to using technology as a tool to spread his ideas. It's very rare to find teachers who use technology to their advantage specially the "vintage" professors who resist change in their method of teachings.

Cool Teacher [wink]

Nice to know that teachers are embracing and open to digital literacy. That gives way to both students and teachers to have a good relationship through the rest of semester.

Very, very cool article. As a teacher myself I have sort of missed out on this other form of communication with my students, they are always welcome to email me, but blogging is on another level, one that they can understand. All though they may have been in middle school, I can see that this little bit of after-school attention in there own virtual world could greatly benefit them. I am sure that it would have a positive impact and since a lot of my students do not have the greatest of homes, the benefits might be more than just education. I am really glad that you posted this and will look forward to coming back. Good luck!
